Empty pill bottles come and go in our lives. Why not turn them into something that’s useful again? Pill containers are great because they are strong, weatherproof and childproof!

With all of these nawesomeDIYmprojects, the first step is to make sure your bottles are clean and label free! Get started By allowing your bottle to soak in hot water to remove the sticky label. Next, wash the inside and outside of the bottle with warm soapy water.

Storing a hidden key is helpful for many reasons. This DIY lets you keep that key safe while concealed!


  • E6000 glue
  • Key
  • Small rock
  • Small pinecones

Glue a pinecone to the top of the bottle cap on the outside. Dig a small hole in your desired hiding place, and slip the bottle in! You can add more to the outside of the bottle as needed for coverage. Just make sure not to bury it too deep.

Going camping and don’t want to bring a whole bag of extra supplies? This is perfect for you!


  • Cotton balls
  • Vaseline
  • Spoon
  • Chopsticks
  • Baggie

Place a large spoonful of vaseline in the baggie and add cotton balls. Mix around until the cotton balls are coated. Pack the coated cotton balls in the container using the chopsticks.
